For nearly four decades, we have been a trusted leader in custom home building throughout the Kansas City area. Since 1990, the company has proudly built more than 2,500 custom homes, earning a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, quality construction, and outstanding customer service.

As a dedicated member of the Kansas City Builders Association for more than 20 years, the company remains committed to industry excellence, incorporating the latest building technologies, innovative materials, and the region’s most skilled trade partners. This commitment allows homeowners to enjoy superior quality and modern design while maintaining an affordable price point.

At the heart of the company’s success is a passion for helping families create their unique dream home. Every project is tailored to reflect the client’s vision, lifestyle, and needs, providing a truly custom home-building experience from concept to completion. With today’s evolving homebuying environment, DRHI remains one of the few builders that gives buyers the flexibility to personalize their home. Rather than being limited to a pre-selected design package, you can choose your own finishes and make selections that truly reflect your style and preferences.

The relationship with homeowners continues long after move-in day. With a comprehensive warranty program and responsive post-closing support, clients can feel confident knowing their investment is backed by a builder who stands behind its work.

The company’s greatest testament to success is its loyal customer base. Many homeowners return to build a second or third home, and it is a point of pride to now be building homes for the children of original clients—a reflection of the trust, quality, and lasting relationships established over generations.
